ITM was founded in 1929 to provide precision tooling to local manufacturers. Since then, it has developed to meet and lead changes in cutting edge factory automation and production processes. ITM provides tool & die services daily while also becoming an innovator in factory automation, process control systems, and robotics. In addition to achieving superior productivity and lean process improvements, ITM’s innovative and efficient designs have allowed our customers to attain the highly respected “Six Sigma” and Malcolm Baldrige quality designations for manufacturing. ITM does not try to fit a “catalog” solution to meet a customers’ unique needs. Therefore, ITM strives to frame and assess the context of customer needs by providing the optimum turn-key solution for each customers’ unique product, process and production requirements, while affording them the opportunity to integrate current technology and processes into their systems.
Located in the greater San Antonio, Texas metropolitan area, ITM expanded its original 20,000 sq. ft. facility to support its growing customer requirements and incorporate state of the art precision machining capabilities for specialized tooling and fixturing requirements. A 15,000 sq. ft. building addition for systems integration was completed in April 2013 to provide greater support for the increasingly larger and more complex turn-key design, manufacture and integration of these production systems. The types of systems and equipment range from complete manufacturing lines to individual robotic and automated production cells.
For over 90 years, ITM has provided Innovation, Technology, and Machinery for the manufacturing industry, research & development organizations and educational institutions. ITM continuously hones its capabilities to apply advanced technologies and techniques to meet the manufacturing industry’s needs for consistently increased productivity while supporting deepening product complexity. ITM provides innovative solutions to its customer’s unique manufacturing challenges and research requirements. Utilizing a systems-oriented and customer driven approach, solutions have been provided for complete manufacturing and production lines, individual process cells and specialized tooling, jigs or fixtures to meet unique requirements.
